Northern Nevada Imaging strives in making custom art portraiture affordable for every budget. Session fees and purchasing commitments are based on the amount of time we commit to creating your custom art work.

Creating your custom portrait experience involves two things: knowing what type and style of photography you are looking for and knowing what you intend to do with your custom portraiture once your session is complete.

Our specially trained staff will help guide you through the entire process. Your investment will require both time and monetary commitment.

Your time investment will include the following requirements…

A. Consultation: This is an opportunity for us to get to know each other. Determine what your needs and wants are and to learn if Northern Nevada Imaging is a good match for your needs. The consultation usually requires 15-45 minutes in our studio.

B. Session: The amount of time required for your session will vary depending on your own personal needs. Plan on spending an additional 30-45 in the studio than your scheduled session length to allow for clothing changes, preparing, make-up touch up, etc.

C. Viewing Session: 7-10 days after your session, you will return to the studio for your custom viewing session. This viewing session will include presentation of your custom portraiture, artist recommendations, possibly a DVD slideshow set to music, and a purchasing session. Please plan on whom ever will be making your purchasing selection present at this session. All purchasing choices will be made at this appointment. There will be additional charge if additional viewing sessions are required.

D. Reveal: 3-4 weeks after your viewing session you will be invited back to the studio to review your finished artwork and make frame selections.

And what we all want to know…. How much is this going to cost me?

Every session is custom designed to meet your needs and create a custom product that can not meet the needs of anyone else so you will be expected to cover ALL of the time spent on your behalf by the staff and artists at Northern Nevada Imaging. Time with the camera is approximately 1/4 of the total time required to create your custom piece of art. Every image that you select is meticulously processed to create the custom artwork that is worthy for generations to come.

Print investments are based on several factors: types of paper or medium that is chosen, the amount of time investment made by the artist, and other expenses associated with creating your finish piece of art. The most common question I receive is “How much is an 8×10?” We have done everything in our power to create a standard price structure that is comprehensive, however, due to the custom nature of photography we can not put a price on “a piece of paper” that ensures a beneficial relationship to both Northern Nevada Imaging and you the client. For example: two customers both want an 8×10 of their family to give as a gift for Christmas. The first client wants a quick and easy studio type portrait, and the second would like an outdoor session showcasing the famous fall colors of upper New York state. This is why our purchasing commitment has been implemented…. If our artists commit to spending a certain amount of time with you, you will commit to making finished art selections to cover the artists time. i.e.: you won’t ask for a 3 hour session and make a $10 art selection.

The following amounts are based on averages collected from past clients. All of our products are available on an ala cart basis so you never have to buy product that you do not need.

Northern Nevada Imaging offers 8×10″ gift prints starting at $35 and portrait collections beginning at $49.

The average 15 minute in studio session typically invests $19.95 on their session and between $49 and $129 on their art selections. There are no purchasing commitments required for this type of session.

The average 30 minute in studio session typically invests $50 on their session and between $100-$400 on art selections. There is a $100 purchasing commitment with this type of session.

The average 1 hour session typically invest $100 on their session and between $400-$900 on art selections. There is a $200 purchasing commitment with this type of session.

The average 2.5 hour session typically invest $350 on their session and between $900-$1500 on their art selections. There is $500 purchasing commitment with this type of session.

At Northern Nevada Imaging you will never pay extra for the number of people in your session, you will never pay extra for changing your clothes, and you will never pay extra for standard artistic enhancements to your finished products.
